Day 7: The Reason for Everything

Everything comes from God alone. Everything lives by his power, and everything is for his glory.
– Romans 11:36

This life? It’s all for Him.

We are born. We continue to wake up each day. All other things around us unstoppingly do their purpose for Him, for God’s glory.

What is the glory of God? It is Him. Where is the glory of God? It is around us. A lot of things even from the past until now show the glory of God. But it is best seen in Jesus Christ.

God has been the reason for everything and so, he deserves all the glory that we can best offer him.

But how can we bring glory to God?

1. By worshipping him
It does not only mean we praise, sing and pray to Him. Worship is best seen in the way we live our lives.
Using our whole body as a tool to do what is right for the glory of God.

2. Loving other believers
Through Jesus, God manifested our responsibility,
As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are disciples, if you love one another.

3. Becoming like Christ
We are called to be like Christ in the way we think, feel and act.
As the Spirit of the Lors works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more.

4. Serving others with our gifts
God blessed us with unique talents, skills, and capabilities in order to benefit others abd not for selfish purposes. Just as others are given for our benefit.
God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God’s generosity can flow through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then God will be given glory.

5. Telling others about Him
The truth about God is not a secret, it is instead a great privilege to introduce Him to others and help them discover their purpose.

Living for God’s glory may be difficult and entails changes in our lives. But God will be there to give us the strength we need miraculously. We just need to BELIEVE and RECEIVE him.

Deareat Lord, I thank you for the opportunity to remind me that you are the reason why I live. Help me Lord God to do the right thing for me to honor and give you glory you deserve. Amen.
