Long before, I really wanted to visit Bantayan Island because it’s one of the first places in Philippines that offers skydiving adventure. But more than the skydiving, the breathtaking scenery, the clean and clear water, the powdery white sand captured me and made me put Bantayan Island on my No. 2 spot of my favorite beaches in the country.

It is located on the southern part of Quezon and normally, travel time is only 4-5 hours. Cagbalete Island has the extreme low and high tide. You can swim early morning and later in the afternoon when the water comes back near the shore.
So if you are looking for a near place to go from Manila for your next adventure, Zambales is a good option. For only 1,500 pesos, you can already have a quick weekend trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city and take home IG-worthy pictures you can share to your friends.

“Very laid-back”, that’s the usual adjective you can always attach with Coron. All in all, the whole trip was so remarkable to me. First, because I did it all alone. Second, I was able to see with my own eyes the priceless beauty of Coron that everyone should also see. Friendly advice, “Take a leave and go to Coron.”
